Hey, guess what?! We just passed our 5th birthday and we're closing in on our 4th birthday here at acountrypractice.com. Wow. Can't believe it's been that long -- time sure flies. :-)

Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote in the forum poll. There were enough positive votes that I decided to go ahead and add the forum to the site sooner rather than later (it's a good way to celebrate turning five, don't you think?). You'll find the new forums at http://forums.acountrypractice.com/index.php. There's not much there right now (in fact, as I right it's darned near empty) but if you'll head on over and sign up, we'll soon get the place buzzing.

On a somewhat lesser note, I've also set up a new free email service. You may recall that several years ago I set up a free email service through Zap Zone, offering email addresses at acountrypractice.zzn.com. Several of you took advantage of it and signed up for own accounts. Well, you still can but I've added a second free email service, this time offering email addresses at my.acountrypractice.com. These new accounts (powered by Everyone.com) offer more space than Yahoo or Hotmail but, like Yahoo and Hotmail, they are ad drive (what free email service isn't). These accounts come with 6MB of space, compared to 4MB for a free Yahoo account or 2MB for a free Hotmail account.
