| It's sheep shearing season and there
is a case of footrot going around. Jessie's
tunnel ball team are made sick by
council-approved spraying at the oval. Frank is
back from Sydney. Gladys, a shearer's cook, and
her son are in town. Cookie mistakenly thinks her
son is his (he had a liaison with her 35 years
ago when they were both shearer's cooks). Anne is
going to sell her flat in Perth and pour all the
money into the farm to get Steve out of debt.
Steve is crowned the Wool Queen after Luke enters
her against her wishes. |
